MEMBERSHIP

QDCN is a preferred provider for Chaplaincy Services as part of Disaster Recovery: Human and Social Services with the Queensland State Government, Department of Communities, Community Recovery. QDCN has established formal relationships with several Queensland Local Government Areas (Councils) to support communities during the immediate evacuation phase of disasters. We are working to establish such relationships with all local councils in Queensland.

The QDCN is endorsed by the local church and the committee is made up of representatives from various denominations. 

The QDCN is a member of the Australian Volunteer Emergency Chaplaincy Alliance (AVECA) who provides oversight, guidelines, and standards under which disaster chaplaincy agencies need to operate.

We are interested in hearing from other mainstream Christian denominations and agencies regarding joining with the QDCN in membership.
